GENERAL INFORMATION
BP-183-B0 is an organically modified bentonite designed for use in low to medium
polarity solvent system. ADVANTAGES
☆Increases viscosity and imparts thixotropic properties. ☆Prevents hard settling during storage. ☆ Exerts strong film reinforce action in organic systems.
INCORPORATIONS
BP-183-B0 requires high shear dispersion in the solvent or resin/solvent blend as well
as a chemical activator. It is added to the solvent or resin/solvent and dispersed under
shear for 10 minutes. Following that a polar activator is added and mixed an additional
10 minutes to ensure complete activation.Cowles-type dissolvers, sand, ball or three
roll mills are all suitable.
